The Z-Wave answer for anyone with an existing wired roller shutter or venetian blind motor and a back box to hide an in-wall relay in — this is the first Z-Wave device in this category, and it's a genuinely different install method to every retrofit clip-on we list: an electrician (or a confident DIYer) wires it behind the switch plate, and it drives the shutter directly via Home Assistant's native zwave_js integration with no cloud step at all. Requires a neutral wire and a Z-Wave stick or hub.
