If you make a smart home product with UK availability and Home Assistant relevance — local control, a maintained HA integration or HACS component, or genuine offline operation — we're happy to consider it for review.

How this works

• The review is honest, full stop. Receiving a unit never guarantees coverage, a positive review, or a specific score. We test the product the same way we test anything we buy ourselves — see our editorial policy for the exact methodology.
• We may say it's not good.If a product is unreliable, cloud-locked, or has a broken HA integration, the article will say so. We don't publish a review we're not willing to stand behind, and we don't take one down because a brand is unhappy with it.
• No pay-for-coverage.We don't accept payment, commission guarantees, or affiliate exclusivity in exchange for a review. Affiliate links may be added afterwards if the product is genuinely recommended, governed by the same affiliate disclosure as everything else on the site.
• We can't promise a review. Given volume, not every pitch results in coverage — fit with existing keyword targeting and reader demand plays a part.

What to include

The more relevant detail up front, the faster we can assess fit — UK retail availability and price, whether it has a Home Assistant integration (official or HACS), and whether it works locally without a cloud dependency.
