The step up from the RTS Sonesse 28 we already list: io-homecontrol is Somfy's newer bidirectional radio, so the blind actually reports its position back instead of guessing. This is the 3Nm/30rpm variant — Somfy's mid-torque Sonesse 40 io, rated for tubes with at least 37mm free internal diameter and under 44dB, quiet enough for a bedroom. Heavier fabric or wider drops should step up to the 6Nm or 9Nm versions in the same range. It shares the TaHoma Switch hub (which speaks io, RTS and Zigbee 3.0 despite the RTS-focused branding) and the same local Overkiz integration — just confirm your TaHoma is paired in io mode, not RTS-only.

ControlTypeWhat it does
PositionCover (0-100%)Real io position feedback rather than a timed guess — same feedback mechanism as the Sunea awning.
My positionNumberExposes the io remote's My favourite-position preset as a settable HA entity — write a preferred position from an automation instead of only recalling what was saved on the physical remote.
Low-speed coverCoverPresent only on motors reporting low-speed capability; moves at reduced speed for quieter operation, worth checking for on bedroom/nursery installs.

Because this is Somfy's plain interior tube motor rather than the Sunea awning line, Overkiz maps it to a generic roller-shutter class, not a venetian-blind widget, so there's no tilt control and none of the wind-sensor or secured-position entities the awning gets — no slats, no wind rating to protect. What the interior motor adds instead is a config-category number entity exposing the remote's My favourite-position memory, so an automation can push a preferred position directly rather than relying on whatever was last saved by hand, and on units that support it, a second low-speed cover entity for near-silent movement. Position and moving-state feedback work identically to the Sunea, so live percentage position and opening/closing state stay just as reliable.
