Through the Home Hub, the Argus 4 Pro registers in Home Assistant as its own independent device rather than a child entity nested under the hub, so automations can target the camera directly with a full set of camera, sensor and binary sensor entities. Because it's battery-powered, most non-critical entities only get pushed on a genuine wake event — a PIR trigger, more than an hour since the last update, a hard multi-hour ceiling if it's stayed quiet, or a hub-wide cap that forces every battery camera on that hub to check in together — rather than continuous polling. There's no dedicated solar-panel entity; panel output only shows up indirectly as the battery-state sensor flipping to charging while daylight hits the panel, so a camera that never reports charging on a sunny day is your only local signal the panel's misaligned, shaded, or disconnected.
