Reolink's entry point onto this list's local-control shortlist, and priced like it: the Lumus swaps the Duo 2 and Elite's wide dual-lens frame and beefier 5-8W spotlight arrays for a single fixed 2.8mm lens and a modest two-LED 1.6W/6500K spotlight — enough for genuine colour night vision on a porch or side gate, not for lighting up a driveway. IR-only range is a shorter 10m too, versus 30m on the pricier siblings. IP65-rated for UK weather, mains-powered (no battery swaps), and stores locally to microSD (up to 512GB) or a Reolink NVR. Same fully-local RTSP/ONVIF path as the rest of the range — buy it for the price, not the coverage.

ControlTypeWhat it does
FloodlightLightDirect on/off control of the built-in floodlight, independent of the camera's own auto/schedule logic.
Floodlight modeSelectSets the camera's own floodlight behaviour (off/auto/schedule/on at night/adaptive) for colour night vision, independent of the light entity above.
SirenSirenStarts the alarm siren on activation and holds it until explicitly turned off — no automatic timeout, so automations must schedule the off action themselves.
Siren duration / volumeNumberConfigures how loud and how long the siren plays when triggered via the camera's own event logic.
Person / vehicle / animal detectionBinary sensorOn-device AI detection classes exposed individually; the primary trigger source for a scare-off automation given the fixed lens has no PTZ auto-tracking to narrow false positives.

The floodlight surfaces as its own light entity separate from the floodlight-mode select, so you can force it on as a plain porch/work light from HA regardless of what the camera's internal off/auto/schedule logic is doing — useful for a side passage where you just want illumination, not a security trigger. The siren entity behaves the same way: turning it on latches until explicitly turned off, with volume and duration set via separate number entities rather than a fixed internal timeout. Because the Lumus is a single fixed-lens camera with no pan/tilt or dual-lens stitching, expect noticeably tighter coverage than the site's pricier Reolink picks — plan two of these for a wraparound path rather than one covering a full yard corner.
