The pick for anyone with a drawer full of Aqara sensors — the M3 bridges them locally over Matter (or HomeKit if you'd rather use homekit_controller), and doubles as a Thread border router for other Matter kit. It is not a general-purpose Zigbee coordinator you can point ZHA or Zigbee2MQTT at directly — it only talks to its own Aqara Zigbee devices, not third-party ones.
