Our verdict
A tri-band Wi-Fi 6E mesh that is now sensibly priced in the UK, and still the Deco I would point a normal house at. The catch is the ports: the XE75 has gigabit only, while the XE75 Pro has a 2.5G port, so check which one you are buying before you spend on a multi-gig line. There is no proper Home Assistant story: presence tracking relies on a community HACS add-on, so choose it for the Wi-Fi, not the smart home hooks.
What can Home Assistant control on the TP-Link Deco XE75?
No core Home Assistant integration covers Deco. The community HACS integration tplink_deco (amosyuen/ha-tplink-deco) polls locally for device trackers and CPU/memory diagnostics plus a reboot service, but it is in maintenance mode and one community report says it broke after HA 2026.3.4; the separate tplink_router custom integration is not Deco-specific.
