One of the few contact sensors officially certified Works with Home Assistant (Matter over Thread), so pairing and long-term support are as safe as it gets. Pick this over the cheaper Zigbee Aqara sensor if you are building a Thread network; you will need a Thread border router such as HA's Connect ZBT-1 or an Apple/Google hub.
