Aqara Water Leak Sensor

Zigbee2MQTT / ZHALocal control
  • Zigbee

Verified July 2026

The default leak sensor for Home Assistant households: IP67, two-year battery and instant wet/dry reporting under sinks, washing machines and combi boilers. Pairs directly with Zigbee2MQTT or ZHA (model SJCGQ11LM) so you can skip the Aqara hub entirely.

Zigbee2MQTT/ZHA expose a water-leak binary sensor plus battery, voltage, device-temperature and trigger-count sensors — the trigger count is the useful one, letting you distinguish a single splash from repeated re-triggering rather than trusting the boolean alone. Pairing needs a 5-second hold on the reset button under the water-drop logo; if it doesn't join, Zigbee2MQTT's own docs recommend a quick double-press straight after to force re-announcement.
