The best-value climate sensor with a screen: a 2.5-inch LCD shows temperature, humidity and a comfort icon at a glance, so you don't need to open the Home Assistant app to check a room. It's noticeably bulkier than the display-less -02P (62.5x59.5x18.5mm vs a slim 45x45x17.7mm) and its CR2450 lasts roughly half as long — around 2 years against the -02P's 4 — the tradeoff for having a screen at all. Buy this one for a single desk, nursery or bedroom where you want a physical readout; for whole-house sensor coverage, the cheaper, smaller -02P scatters better across multiple rooms. Magnetic base and desk-stand mounting both included.

Zigbee2MQTT exposes the expected temperature/humidity/battery trio plus on-device comfort-zone thresholds and calibration offsets that ZHA doesn't surface at all. The catch: the sensor sleeps to save its CR2450, so any settings change (calibration, comfort range, °C/°F) silently queues until you physically press the rear button to wake it — a write made while it's asleep just doesn't land. Worth mirroring the same comfort min/max values in an HA automation so phone alerts only fire when the physical display's snowflake/fire icon is also showing it, avoiding duplicate thresholds drifting out of sync.
