A soft edge-lit panel for video calls and streaming, not a room light. It is a workable desk light for monitor-side use, although at around £130 you are paying for the streaming ecosystem. Home Assistant has a core Elgato integration for Key Lights over the local network. I could not confirm the MK.2 specifically on that integration's supported list, so test the original-model behaviour with care.
What can Home Assistant control on the Elgato Key Light Air (MK.2)?
The core Elgato integration is local; confirm MK.2 compatibility before relying on it.
