A long IP66 RGBIC outdoor string for a garden, pergola or fence run, at about £70 for 15 m. It needs a mains socket outside, as with any plug-in string, and you control it from the Govee app or voice assistants. Home Assistant support is not something I could confirm for this exact model, so treat it as an app-first product.

- Partly. The Govee Outdoor String Lights (15 m) connects to Home Assistant through the manufacturer's cloud integration, which relies on the Govee cloud. It works in Home Assistant, but commands go via the internet and stop working during an outage of your connection or the Govee service.
- Which protocol does the Govee Outdoor String Lights (15 m) use, and do I need a hub?
- The Govee Outdoor String Lights (15 m) uses Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. Govee's own hub is not required when you integrate through the manufacturer's cloud integration.
