Each Lily spot is its own full Zigbee end-device — the shared low-voltage transformer is pure DC power distribution and never shows up as a Zigbee node in HA, so a 3-pack seeds three independent light entities, not one grouped device. Because spots sit further apart and further from the house than typical indoor Hue placement, and garden obstructions bite into range harder than interior drywall does, the spot at the end of a run is the one that goes unavailable first unless there's an anchor — another Hue light or the Bridge itself in line of sight of the nearest spot — to close the repeater chain back indoors. A sun-elevation-triggered automation (rather than a flat dusk time) lights the whole run together instead of the far spot lagging on a scene call, since each spot also repeats for the next.
