Mains outdoor wall light with RGB plus tunable white that joins Wi-Fi directly, and the WiZ integration is built into Home Assistant Core and runs locally. That makes it one of the cheaper ways to get a coloured porch light into HA with no bridge. The catches are common to WiZ: it is Wi-Fi only so signal strength at the front door matters, the 'Allow local communication' setting in the WiZ app must be on, and IP44 is splash-resistant rather than a fully exposed rating, so check placement. Brightness is quoted differently by different sellers (see notes), so do not bank on a figure.
What can Home Assistant control on the WiZ Elpas Smart LED Outdoor Wall Light (Colour)?
| Control | Type | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| Light | Light | On/off, brightness, colour temperature and RGB colour with WiZ effects. |
| Effect speed | Number | Speed of the current effect; only appears when the active effect supports speed adjustment. |
Built-in wiz integration: Local Push over your LAN, discovered automatically and exposed as a single light entity. Setup needs 'Allow local communication' enabled in the WiZ app before HA can see it. It exposes WiZ scenes/effects, and an effect-speed number entity appears only when the active effect supports speed. The integration is local, but the light still needs your Wi-Fi to be reachable from HA's subnet, and an outdoor bulb at the edge of coverage will drop off. Occupancy sensing in HA comes only from linked WiZ sensors, not this fixture.
