WiZ Smart LED Filament Bulb ST64 B22 (amber)

Verified July 2026
The cheap way to make a UK bayonet pendant look expensive: a proper amber-glass filament bulb with tunable warm-to-cool white, controlled locally by Home Assistant's native wiz integration with no hub. Dimming a vintage-look bulb from an automation never stops being satisfying.
In Home Assistant
| Control | Type | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| Brightness | Slider (fixed integer steps) | Dim the bulb — smooth brightness_step commands don't work on this model |
| Colour temperature | Slider (2000-4500K) | Adjust warm-to-cool white |
As a tunable-white-only bulb it gets a single light entity with brightness and colour-temperature control but no effect entity — those only exist on WiZ's RGB models. A confirmed HA issue means brightness_step calls and templated brightness values silently no-op on WiZ filament bulbs specifically (confirmed against WLED as a working control) — only fixed integer brightness values actually land, so build a circadian warmth ramp using absolute color_temp_kelvin values on a time_pattern trigger rather than relying on step commands.
