The sleeper pick for local-control fans: the official native ezviz integration handles cloud settings, but you can manually flip on RTSP in the Ezviz app's LAN Live View setting and get a genuine local stream into HA — no other budget cloud-first doorbell here does that as cleanly. The one gap is the doorbell press event, which isn't natively exposed, so plan on a Shelly-on-the-chime workaround if you want automations to fire on a ring.
