Our verdict
A tri-band Wi-Fi 6E mesh (AXE11000) with a dedicated backhaul band that can use the 6GHz radio, a 2.5G port and AiMesh support. It is a strong choice for a big house if you can run a cable for wired backhaul, but Wi-Fi 7 mesh systems now offer more for similar money. Amazon lists it as 'ZenWiFi ET12'; priced here as a 2-pack.
What can Home Assistant control on the ASUS ZenWiFi Pro ET12?
Home Assistant core has an asuswrt integration for ASUS routers running ASUSWRT firmware (local polling over telnet or HTTP(S)), giving device trackers, connected-device counts, traffic and speed sensors and load/temperature sensors. Compatibility with this specific model was not verified against the docs. AiMesh nodes were also not verified.
