The mid-tier step below Lock Ultra: SwitchBot's own listing explicitly confirms it fits European cylinders, British oval cylinders and Swiss round cylinders, with eight cylinder adaptors included in the box — no separate adapter purchase like the cheaper original Lock. The base Bluetooth model needs no hub at all for Home Assistant, since the official switchbot integration talks to it directly over local BLE; only Lock Ultra carries the full Works with Home Assistant badge, Lock Pro uses the same core integration but isn't separately certified. It sits meaningfully above the base Lock and below Ultra on price, and adds SwitchBot's own quieter/faster motor generation plus the persistent-calibration behaviour covered below.

Lock Pro's calibration state persists across battery removal — unlike the base Lock, which clears it — so a battery swap won't leave Home Assistant's lock entity briefly untrustworthy while it waits for you to recalibrate in the SwitchBot app. SwitchBot's auto-unlock geofencing feature is a phone-side Bluetooth+GPS feature handled entirely inside the SwitchBot app and never surfaces as an entity, attribute, or trigger in the switchbot integration, so it can't be referenced from HA automations at all. Neither the separate built-in Wi-Fi SKU nor this Amazon listing's bundled Hub Mini (Matter Enabled) changes any of this for HA: local control still goes over Bluetooth exactly as with the plain hub-less lock, since the Wi-Fi radio and the bundled hub's Matter bridge only serve SwitchBot's own cloud app and Apple Home/Alexa/Google Home respectively, not the local switchbot integration — there's no Matter or Wi-Fi entity path into Home Assistant for this device.
