A 2-gang Zigbee 3.0 relay (model LLKZMK12LM) with per-relay dry-contact mode, which is the detail that matters: it can pulse-switch a garage door opener or a boiler/valve circuit instead of just holding a load on/off, and both relays are independently exposed in Zigbee2MQTT and ZHA. The catch is the combined 10A rating across both channels — fine for lighting or a boiler relay, not enough for anything like a washing machine circuit. Requires a neutral wire; Aqara markets it as needing their own hub, but it's standard Zigbee 3.0 and pairs directly to Zigbee2MQTT or ZHA with no Aqara hub needed.

ControlTypeWhat it does
Switch (per relay)SwitchIndependent on/off control per relay.
Mode (per relay)SelectPower, pulse, or dry-contact behaviour per relay — dry-contact/pulse mode is what enables garage-door and valve-style pulse switching.
Pulse lengthNumberConfigures how long the contact closes for in pulse mode, from roughly 200ms to 2 seconds.
Switch typeSelectConfigures how the wired external switch input is interpreted, matching rocker vs momentary switches.

Zigbee2MQTT exposes each relay as its own mode block — power, pulse, or dry-contact, with a configurable pulse length and switch type — rather than a single generic switch, and dry-contact wiring for garage-door or valve use runs to a different terminal block than the standard live-switching connections. The quirk worth knowing before building a garage automation: in pulse mode the relay's own hardware timer resets the contact locally, but the firmware doesn't reliably report that change back to the coordinator, so Zigbee2MQTT/HA can show the switch stuck on long after the physical pulse has already completed — a known firmware-level limitation with no fix, only workarounds. Since the relay has no door-position feedback of its own, the practical pattern is a toggle-triggered pulse automation paired with a separate reed/contact sensor on the door to track real open/closed state instead of trusting the relay's reported state.
