Two 16A channels with per-channel power metering, and it doubles as HA's best-value roller-shutter/blind controller in cover mode. Needs a neutral, but at just 37 x 42 x 16mm it's slim enough for almost any UK back box without depth headaches. At 16A per channel it'll switch an immersion heater or shower pump as easily as two lighting circuits, and cover mode adds calibrated position tracking without a separate blind controller. It isn't in Home Assistant's formal Works with Home Assistant scheme, but the native Shelly integration is Platinum-quality local push — a better bet than its bolt-on Matter-over-Wi-Fi support, which exposes on/off only and drops power metering and calibration.

Cover mode's obstruction detection is power-based rather than purely time-driven: running a calibration cycle walks a full open-close-open pass, records per-percent travel time and ramp-up in each direction, and auto-sets an obstruction trip point to the calibration run's peak wattage plus a margin, with a configurable holdoff after motor start to ignore startup surge. Each channel keeps live power and current entities even while the cover is moving, so HA sees the same power draw the firmware uses internally to decide obstruction — not just a modelled position from elapsed time. That live per-channel current reading lets an automation catch a motor straining before it hits the hard obstruction trip, distinct from time-only cover implementations that only estimate position and don't expose the trip threshold itself.
