Two independently switched, power-metered relays in one module — genuinely built with curtain and roller-shutter motors in mind, so it doubles as a switch-side controller for an existing AC blind or shutter motor, unlike the Aqara Curtain Driver E1's standalone battery motor with nothing to wire. Each channel handles up to 10A (20A/4400W combined) and needs a neutral wire; the extra relay wiring and motor connections rarely fit a shallow UK single-gang back box, so check depth first. Best HA route is the community SonoffLAN HACS integration over eWeLink LAN mode, fully local once set up.

SonoffLAN's dual-relay curtain class maps motor mode to a proper cover entity with open/close/stop and 0-100 set-position support — no manual template cover required. That position isn't from a physical encoder though; it's the module's own time-calibrated estimate, and reported issues show it can stick at 0 or stop updating if the calibration run wasn't completed cleanly, so treat the displayed percentage as approximate. Switching between 2-channel switch mode and single-relay curtain mode happens in the eWeLink app, not in Home Assistant, and it changes which entities SonoffLAN exposes, so the mode needs locking in before building automations around it. Per-channel voltage/current/power metering keeps reporting even in motor mode, so a current-draw automation can catch the motor stalling against a hard end-stop and correct the drifted position rather than trusting the reported position alone.
