Verified July 2026

The neutral-wire sibling of the ZBMINIL2: 10A, acts as a Zigbee router that strengthens your mesh, and adds detach mode and turbo antenna mode in Zigbee2MQTT. If your back box has a neutral, buy this over the L2 every time.

Zigbee2MQTT exposes power-on-behaviour, network-indicator, a turbo radio-power mode, delayed-power-on timing, detach-relay mode and an external-trigger mode (edge/pulse/follow) with a dedicated action entity for switch-toggle events. Set external_trigger_mode to edge alongside detach_relay_mode and the existing wall switch fires the action entity as a pure momentary trigger without toggling the relay — letting an automation drive a smart bulb group independently of the physical switch, something relay-only Zigbee modules can't do. Detach mode has had repeat regressions in Zigbee2MQTT dev builds, so retest after upgrading firmware.
