Not the Saros 20 already on this site — the 10R is the earlier (early-2025) ultra-slim flagship that pioneered the same 79.8mm AdaptiLift chassis trick, just with noticeably less muscle: 22,000Pa suction versus the 20's 36,000Pa, and a shallower 4cm threshold climb against the 20's 3.46in lift. Its HA support is the more settled of the two — the local-connection crash that briefly made new units go 'unavailable' (home-assistant/core#148815) was patched in a python-roborock library bump back in September 2025, so you're not chasing an open bug like current Saros 20 buyers are. The real catch is UK retail: Roborock's own UK store has dropped the 10R from its lineup entirely (only Saros 10 and Saros 20 remain), leaving Amazon UK third-party sellers as the only route in at a noticeable premium over US pricing. Worth it for the slim-body design at a lower outlay than the 20 if 22,000Pa is enough suction for your floors — otherwise the Saros 20 or S8 MaxV Ultra are the better UK-backed buys.

The core roborock integration (home-assistant.io/integrations/roborock) lists the Saros series as fully supported and exposes a vacuum entity (start/pause/stop/dock plus fan-speed and mop-intensity selects), sensors for battery, cleaning area/time and consumable life, binary sensors for mop-attached and water-shortage, and a live map image entity — polled locally roughly every 30 seconds with cloud fallback used for setup, routines and map rendering. Early Saros 10R units hit a device-specific bug (home-assistant/core#148815): local commands failed to decrypt ('Failed to decode...Padding is incorrect'), forcing the integration onto the rate-limited cloud API and eventually marking the device unavailable — fixed by bumping the python-roborock dependency to 2.47.1 (PR #152844, merged September 2025), so units set up on a current HA release shouldn't hit it. There's no dedicated vacuum-only/mop-only select exposed in the entity list; the documented workaround on community.home-assistant.io is to call vacuum.send_command with mop_power/water_box parameters first, then a separate vacuum.start action, since the app's combined 'cleaning mode' picker doesn't map to one HA control.
