A tidy, well-built Zigbee plug that pairs into a Philips Hue bridge as well as Zigbee2MQTT/ZHA — a real point of difference from the SONOFF S60ZBTPG and Aqara Power Plug H2 UK RGB on this list, neither of which offer that Hue-bridge route into HA. At £19.99 it sits between the SONOFF (£13.99, cheapest energy-monitoring Zigbee plug here, but hub-free Z2M/ZHA only, no Hue) and the pricier Aqara H2 UK RGB (£32.99, Matter/Thread native but no power or energy data over Matter at all). Best fit: a household already running a Hue bridge for lighting that wants one more plug reporting proper wattage into HA without adding a second ecosystem. If you're not on Hue, the cheaper SONOFF is the better buy.

Zigbee2MQTT adds a switch plus power, energy, voltage and current sensors, with a configurable power-on-behaviour option for after outages. Sibling Innr plugs in the same family (SP 240/242) have a documented bug where cumulative energy reports out by 100x and stops updating after a power cycle until manually re-polled — worth checking for on the SP 244 too. The live power sensor is genuinely useful for detecting an appliance cycle finishing (e.g. power dropping below 5W for a few minutes signals a washing machine is done).
