myenergi Zappi EV Charger
- Wi-Fi
Verified July 2026
Britain's favourite solar-diverting EV charger, and its energy data slots straight into Home Assistant's energy dashboard via the myenergi HACS integration. Be aware it polls myenergi's cloud API — there's no local control, so automations depend on their servers.
In Home Assistant
| Control | Type | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| Charger status | Sensor | paused / charging / boosting / completed |
| Plug status | Sensor | EV connected / waiting / charging / disconnected |
| Charge mode | Selector (stopped/fast/eco/eco+) | Choose the charging strategy |
| Boost | Service call | Start a fixed-kWh charge override, bypassing eco mode |
The CJNE/ha-myenergi HACS integration adds charger-status and plug-status sensors, session/today/diverted energy sensors, a charge-mode selector (stopped/fast/eco/eco+), and boost/unlock services — all polled from myenergi's cloud, so there's no local fallback if their API has an outage. A genuinely Zappi-specific automation: trigger a fixed-kWh boost when plug-status becomes "EV connected" and an off-peak tariff sensor drops below a price threshold, then let it revert to eco+ solar diversion afterward.
