Sonoff
Sonoff SwitchMan ZBM5 Zigbee Wall Switch (3 Gang, 86-Type)
Zigbee2MQTT / ZHALocal control
- Zigbee
Verified August 2026
Same flexible-wiring ZBM5 module already covered here in 2-gang form, just stretched to a third gang for a landing or hallway with three separate lighting circuits. Same caveats apply: it's a bare module behind an 86-type back box, not a finished faceplate, and no-neutral mode has the same 3W minimum load and unconfirmed smart-bulb support as the 2-gang version.
In Home Assistant
| Control | Type | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| Switch (per gang) | Switch | Per-gang relay on/off, each reporting its own state independently. |
| Operating mode | Sensor (read-only) | Reports end device or router — auto-selected by the module based on detected wiring, not settable from HA. |
| Detach relay (per gang) | Switch | Enabling a gang stops the physical button from switching its own relay so it can instead drive a scene/automation. |
| Power-on behavior | Select | Sets relay state after a power loss (on/off/previous/toggle), per gang. |
Same behaviour as the 2-gang ZBM5 already on this site: reported operating mode (end device vs. router) is read-only and auto-selected from detected wiring; each gang exposes an independent detach-relay setting to decouple the physical rocker from its relay for scene/automation-only use; power-on behaviour is settable per gang.
