Drayton Wiser Smart Radiator Thermostat
- Zigbee
Verified July 2026
The obvious add-on if you already run a Wiser HeatHub: around £40 a radiator, quiet, and fully controllable per-room in Home Assistant via the local-API wiser HACS integration. It only talks to Wiser hubs though — don't buy it for a Zigbee2MQTT setup.
In Home Assistant
| Control | Type | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| Room climate | Climate entity (shared per room) | Target temperature and mode, aggregating every TRV in the room — not a separate entity per valve |
| Room sensors | Sensor (temp/humidity/battery) | Per-room diagnostics |
Control in HA is per-room, not per-valve — the wiser HACS integration aggregates every TRV in a room into one climate entity, so an automation reading hvac_action can suppress a separate portable heater the moment Wiser reports that room as actively heating, avoiding double-heating room-wide rather than valve-by-valve. It can physically join a generic Zigbee2MQTT network, but system_mode/running_state aren't exposed there and one report found the setpoint periodically reverting to 20°C — confirming it's built to run only against its own HeatHub, not as a standalone Zigbee TRV.
