Our verdict
A 900 VA / 540 W pure-sine-wave UPS with a HID USB port, which is what makes it usable with Home Assistant at all: the plug-in does not talk to the UPS itself, it reads a NUT server on whatever box has the USB cable attached (a Pi, a NAS, the HA host). That is an extra moving part many people underestimate. Runtime is short, CyberPower quotes 7 minutes at half load and 1 minute at full load, so size it as a graceful-shutdown buffer for a router, hub and Pi rather than hours of backup. The battery is a user-replaceable sealed lead-acid pack.

Home Assistant's NUT integration (Local Polling, default 60 s) cannot talk to a UPS directly: it needs a Network UPS Tools server running somewhere (host, port 3493, optional credentials, static IP or DHCP reservation). Entities: battery charge, load, input/output voltage and status sensors, plus diagnostic sensors (battery temperature, runtime, thresholds) that are mostly disabled by default, and outlet buttons/switches if your UPS supports switchable outlets (these need a NUT user with instcmds permission). Expect the usbhid-ups driver; I found no model-specific NUT entry for this exact SKU, so confirm with nut-scanner before relying on it. HA can read but not write NUT variables, and commands needing parameters are unsupported. Use the status sensor to trigger a shutdown automation before the roughly 7-minute half-load runtime expires.
