Key takeaways

  • In last year’s UK sale, the Beam Gen 2 fell from £449 to £339 and the Arc Ultra from £999 to £799 at one dealer.
  • Black Friday 2026 is Friday 27 November, and no Sonos UK deal prices are confirmed yet.
  • Sonos’s own UK shop lists a refurbished Ray at £159 and Era 100 at £159, already below last year’s sale prices.
  • The Sonos Era 300 now lists at £499 on sonos.com, so check real sale prices against £359 from 2025, not a crossed-out RRP.

Black Friday Sonos deals UK shoppers can expect in 2026 will most likely centre on the Beam Gen 2, Era 100, Arc Ultra and Sub Mini: in last year's UK sale, one authorised dealer cut these by £30 to £200. Black Friday is Friday 27 November 2026, and no 2026 prices are confirmed yet.

This page is a planning guide, not a live deals feed. It shows what Sonos cost in a UK Black Friday sale last year, what it costs on sonos.com today, and which products have the most room to drop. Every price is dated and sourced. When 2026 offers go live, compare them with the figures below rather than trusting a crossed-out "was" price.

The 2025 column comes from a single authorised UK dealer's sale page, which ran from 20 November to 22 December 2025, so treat it as a guide to the size of discount rather than a promise. The Ray, Move 2 and Sub 4 were also cut that year, as the list below shows.

How we chose which Sonos products to watch

We started from the products a UK dealer actually discounted in the 2025 sale, then ranked them by the size of the saving and by how well each one suits a typical British home. A £200 cut on a £999 soundbar matters more than £30 off a £199 speaker, but only if you needed a premium soundbar in the first place.

We excluded the Sonos Five and Amp. The same dealer did not expect either in its Black Friday sale, and the Five was only discounted on Cyber Monday the year before. We also left out accessories, because the useful saving on a wall mount or cable is a few pounds. Everything here works with the rest of a Sonos system, so you can start with one speaker and add rooms later. If you are weighing Sonos against alternatives, read our guide to multiroom audio without Sonos first.

Which Sonos speakers are worth waiting for this Black Friday?

The six below had the clearest case for waiting in 2025. Prices are the 2025 UK dealer sale prices unless stated, set against what sonos.com lists today.

1. Sonos Beam (Gen 2) — best soundbar to wait for

Who it's for: anyone with a TV up to about 55 inches who wants Dolby Atmos support without paying for an Arc. At £449 on sonos.com today, the 2025 sale price of £339 was a £110 cut, the second-largest saving in the dealer's list after the Arc Ultra.

The catch is that Sonos now sells the Beam Ultra at £699, so the Gen 2 is the older model. Check that your TV has the HDMI ARC port it needs. Our Sonos Beam Gen 2 review covers day-to-day sound, and the Sonos soundbar price guide shows where each bar sits in the range.

2. Sonos Era 100 — best first Sonos speaker

Who it's for: a kitchen, bedroom or desk where one good stereo speaker will do. It is £199 on sonos.com and was £169 in the 2025 dealer sale, a £30 saving.

The discount is modest in pounds, but buying two to make a stereo pair is where a sale starts to matter. Read the Sonos Era 100 review before committing, and note that Sonos also lists an Era 100 SL at £169 as its normal price, which is worth knowing before you chase a sale on the standard model.

3. Sonos Arc Ultra — best premium soundbar

Who it's for: large living rooms and dedicated cinema setups. It lists at £999 on sonos.com. In 2025 the dealer sold it at £799, saving £200, and described that as the lowest price it had seen for the product. TechRadar also reported £799 at Amazon UK.

The £200 saving is the biggest in pounds of any speaker or soundbar in the dealer's list. The Sonos shop also lists refurbished Arc Ultra units at £799 today, so a Black Friday price only beats the refurbished option if it drops below that. The Sonos Arc review explains what the earlier model does, and our Sonos vs Bose soundbar comparison is useful if £799 still feels steep.

4. Sonos Sub Mini — best add-on for small rooms

Who it's for: flats and smaller lounges where a full-size subwoofer would be too big. It costs £429 on sonos.com and was £339 in the 2025 dealer sale, saving £90 (about 21%).

A subwoofer is the add-on most people hold back on because of the price, so a sale is the natural time to buy one. The trade-off is that it only makes sense once you own a soundbar or speaker to pair it with. See the Sonos Sub Mini review for how much bass it actually adds.

5. Sonos Era 300 — best for spatial audio

Who it's for: a music-first room, or a rear speaker for a Sonos home cinema. The 2025 dealer sale price was £359 against a £449 RRP, a £90 saving.

One thing to check: sonos.com shows the Era 300 at £499 on 25 October 2026, £50 above the £449 RRP the dealer used last year. That makes any sale price harder to judge. Compare with the 2025 sale figure (£359) and the current sonos.com price, and do not assume that a "£449" crossed-out price is the real starting point. Our Sonos Era 300 review still describes the speaker itself.

6. Sonos Roam 2 — best portable

Who it's for: garden, bathroom and travel use. It is £179 on sonos.com and was £139 in the 2025 dealer sale, a £40 saving (about 22%).

The same dealer cut the larger Move 2 from £449 to £359. The Roam 2 is the easier buy if you want something that fits a bag. Our Sonos Move 2 review helps if you want a bigger battery speaker.

What did Sonos cost in last year's UK sale?

The full 2025 list from one authorised UK dealer is below. It is a single retailer's page, so other shops and Amazon may have differed by a few pounds.

In the US, Sonos itself ran a sale on sonos.com that MacRumors reported on 21 November 2025, with the Arc Ultra at $879 (from $1,099) and the Beam Gen 2 at $349 (from $499). That sale is not a UK price list, but it shows Sonos was discounting the same core products directly that year.

Is it worth waiting for Black Friday to buy Sonos?

Only if you can wait and the product is on the list above. The 2025 UK discounts on the core range were typically 15% to 25%. Which? found in 2023 that 92% of the 227 products it tracked across eight big UK retailers were the same price or cheaper at other times of the year, so a Black Friday banner alone proves nothing. Sonos is not exempt, so a sale price only counts if it beats what you could have paid before.

The practical test is simple. Compare any 2026 offer with the 2025 sale price, not with the RRP. If a Beam Gen 2 is £339 or less, it matches last year's sale. If it is £419 with a "save £30" badge, you are being offered a normal-ish price with a banner on it. For wider advice on judging deals across the whole smart home, see our Black Friday smart home deals guide.

Should you buy refurbished Sonos instead?

Possibly, if you want a discount without waiting. Sonos's own UK shop lists refurbished units today, including the Ray at £159, the Era 100 at £159, the Beam Gen 2 at £359, the Sub Mini at £289 and the Arc Ultra at £799. On the Era 100 and the Ray, that is already below the 2025 new-unit sale prices of £169.

The trade-off is condition and the guarantee, so read Sonos's refurbished terms before buying. Refurbished stock is also limited and varies by model. Because the prices are listed all year, they work as a floor: a Black Friday new-unit price needs to be close to refurbished pricing to be worth the extra.

What else should you check before buying Sonos on sale?

Check four things before paying. First, whether the product is the current generation: the Beam Ultra at £699 sits above the Beam Gen 2, so the older model is the one most likely to be reduced. Second, the return window and who sells it, because an authorised dealer, Amazon or sonos.com may have different policies, so ask before paying. Third, whether a bundle is cheaper: Sonos currently lists a Surround Set with Beam at £802 (was £847), saving £45. Fourth, how you will control it. If you use Home Assistant, the official Sonos integration discovers speakers on your network and exposes them as media players, so a cheaper speaker still fits an automated home.

Who should skip the Black Friday Sonos sales?

Skip them if you need a Sonos Five or Amp: the dealer did not expect either in its sale, and said the Five was only discounted on Cyber Monday the year before. Also skip if you need the speaker this week, because a missing discount costs more in frustration than the £30 to £110 you might save on a smaller model. Finally, if you simply want multiroom audio on a budget, a Sonos system may not be the cheapest route even on sale, and our multiroom alternatives guide compares the cheaper options.

Frequently asked questions

When is Black Friday 2026 for Sonos in the UK?
Black Friday 2026 falls on Friday 27 November, with Cyber Monday on 30 November. Sonos has not published UK Black Friday 2026 prices at the time of writing, so any date or discount you see before then is a guess. Last year, one authorised UK dealer ran its Sonos sale from 20 November to 22 December 2025, and MacRumors reported on 21 November that Sonos had already started its own US sale that week. In practice, that means early offers can appear a week or more before the Friday itself. The caveat is that early offers are not always the lowest: a dealer's page last year said some products were not expected to be cut at all, so check prices on several days before you buy.
How much cheaper was Sonos in the UK Black Friday sale last year?
At one authorised UK dealer in the 2025 sale, discounts on the core range were roughly 15% to 25%. The Beam Gen 2 fell from £449 to £339, the Arc Ultra from £999 to £799, the Era 100 from £199 to £169, the Sub Mini from £429 to £339 and the Roam 2 from £179 to £139. That is a useful benchmark for 2026, because a genuine deal should at least match those prices. The caveat is that this is one retailer's page rather than a Sonos price list, and sonos.com now lists the Era 300 at £499 rather than the £449 RRP the dealer quoted, so compare real sale prices rather than the crossed-out figure.
Is the Sonos Arc Ultra worth buying on Black Friday?
The Sonos Arc Ultra is worth buying on Black Friday if you have a large room and a TV that supports eARC, because it is the product with the biggest saving in pounds. In 2025 a UK dealer sold it at £799 against a £999 RRP, a £200 cut, and described that as its lowest price to date. TechRadar also reported £799 at Amazon UK. The caveat is that Sonos's own refurbished Arc Ultra is listed at £799 today, so a new unit needs to beat that to be worthwhile. If your room is small or your TV is under 50 inches, the Beam Gen 2 at around £339 gives you most of the benefit for far less money.

Claims in this article are checked against primary sources — manufacturer specifications, official documentation, Which? research, Ofgem guidance, or gov.uk — rather than forum threads or video reviews. Where the author has direct hands-on experience with a product (most Home Assistant, Zigbee, and home-networking gear is running in his own homelab), that is stated explicitly in the text.

For categories outside that personal setup — such as boilers, heat pumps, and other areas that are traditionally a heating engineer's domain — verdicts are built from cross-referenced manufacturer data, published lab results, and vetted expert and owner reviews rather than a claim of personal hands-on testing.
