The cheapest fully local Zigbee TRV we've tested — no app, no subscription and no proprietary hub, just a straight pairing to ZHA or Zigbee2MQTT. The trade-off is polish: a plasticky finish and an icon-only display rather than tado or Hive's touchscreens.

Exposes a full `climate` entity (heat/off modes, target temperature, pi_heating_demand) via ZHA or Zigbee2MQTT with no custom quirk file needed — plus separate number entities for min/max heat setpoint limits (7.5–28.5°C) and a local temperature offset (±2.5°C), which most budget Zigbee TRVs don't expose. The on-device display is icon-only and used mainly for pairing, calibration and error codes rather than showing the temperature at a glance.
