Is Ring already discounting for Black Friday 2026?
Not in the sense of a sale event. On 28 October 2026 Ring's UK Offers page lists doorbell and Chime bundles, doorbell and camera bundles, security camera bundles and multipacks, with no Black Friday banner or dates that we could see. The savings shown are bundle savings of £2.99 to £49.99 against the items priced separately.
That matters because a bundle price is not the same as a sale price. The Wired Video Doorbell 2K is listed at £59.99 and its Chime bundle at £79.99, against a "Regular price" of £89.98. The £9.99 saving is real, but it will probably still be there in March.
How we chose which Ring deals to watch
We only list items whose current price we could read on Ring's own UK shop today, so every figure has a date and a source. We skipped marketplace listings we could not verify and left out items with no price on the page.
We then ranked the picks on three tests: whether the saving is shown against a price you can check on the same site, whether the model suits a typical UK front door, and whether the running cost makes sense, because Ring Protect adds to the bill. If you are new to Ring, read our best Ring doorbell UK guide and our is a Ring doorbell worth it verdict first.
Which Ring doorbell deals are worth buying or waiting for?
The four below are the clearest candidates on 28 October 2026. Where there is no discount yet, we say so rather than inventing one.
1. Wired Video Doorbell 2K + Chime (3rd Gen): cheapest bundle
Who it's for: anyone replacing an existing wired doorbell. Ring lists the bundle at £79.99 against £89.98 separately, and the doorbell alone is £59.99, so the Chime effectively costs about £20 inside the bundle.
The catch is wiring. A wired doorbell needs a compatible existing bell circuit, and a poor fit is the most common installation problem. Check our Ring doorbell installation guide and the installation cost guide before ordering.
2. Battery Video Doorbell 2K: the no-wiring option
Who it's for: renters, flats and any door with no wiring. It costs £79.99 with no discount on 28 October 2026, and £99.99 with a Chime (regular £109.98).
It is a sensible buy at today's price if you need it now, but not an obvious wait. Last year's evidence below shows Amazon cutting an older Ring battery model heavily before Black Friday, so a November price drop on this one is plausible but unconfirmed. If you are choosing between brands at this price, our Blink vs Ring doorbell comparison shows what the cheaper rival gives up.

3. Battery Video Doorbell 4K Pro + Indoor Camera Plus: biggest saving in pounds
Who it's for: anyone wanting the top battery model and a second camera. The bundle is £219.99 against £269.98 regular, a £49.99 saving, and Ring lists the Battery Video Doorbell 4K Pro alone at £219.99. On those figures the indoor camera comes at no extra charge.
That is the best bundle value we found. The same pairing is also listed with the Wired Video Doorbell 4K Pro at £219.99. For a comparison against rivals, see our Ring vs Google Nest doorbell guide.
4. Battery Video Doorbell 2K Plus: wait for a real price
Who it's for: buyers who want more than the base model without paying 4K Pro money. It is £149.99 with no was-price shown. The Chime bundle is £159.99 against £179.98 separately, which is again a bundle saving.
With £70 between it and the base battery model, a genuine November cut would change the decision. Until Ring or a retailer shows one, there is no saving to measure. Our best Ring doorbell UK guide explains what the extra money buys, so you can judge any November price against it.
What did Ring doorbells cost last Black Friday?
The clearest dated evidence is a UK press report. The Blackpool Gazette reported on 21 November 2025, a week before Black Friday, that Amazon had cut the 2024 Ring Battery Doorbell to £39.99, a 60% reduction on £99.99. It said the price had been known to fall to £59.99 before and called £39.99 only the second time it had dropped that low.
That was an Amazon price on an older model, not Ring's own shop, and it is not a guide to what today's 2K and 4K range will do. What it shows is timing: the deep cut arrived several days before Friday, so waiting until the last minute can mean missing it.
Is it worth waiting for Black Friday to buy a Ring doorbell?
Only if you can wait and the offer beats today's price. Which? tracked 175 home, tech and health products at eight UK retailers, including Amazon, from May 2024 to May 2025, and found 83% were the same price or cheaper at least once outside the 2024 sale period. None of the deals it analysed were at their cheapest of the year on Black Friday itself. For Amazon, 88% of products were the same price or cheaper at another time.
That study covers appliances and tech in general, not Ring. The practical test is simple: if a November offer on the model you want is not below today's price, it is no better than buying this week.
What does a Ring doorbell cost to run after you buy it?
Ring Protect plans on the UK site on 28 October 2026 start at £4.99 a month or £49.99 a year, with the next tier up at £7.99 a month or £79.99 a year. Ring says a free 30-day Ring Subscription trial starts when you first set up a doorbell, unless you already have a subscription.
A cheap doorbell with a plan can cost more over two years than a pricier one you can use without paying. Our Ring subscription cost guide works through the totals, and our best video doorbell with no subscription list covers the alternatives.
Who should skip the Ring Black Friday deals?
Skip them if you do not want a monthly plan, since a headline price of £79.99 hides recurring costs. Skip them too if you want local-only recording or lower running costs, where options like Eufy fit better. Our Ring vs Eufy doorbell comparison shows the trade-offs, and for wider advice across the smart home see our Black Friday smart home deals guide.
